在羅馬尼亞，2009年能源部門(mén)占全國(guó)溫室氣體排放總量的66.44%（ANPM，2011年）。二氧化碳（CO2）是國(guó)家總溫室氣體排放量最大的貢獻(xiàn)者。為此，羅馬尼亞需要實(shí)施新技術(shù)，以減少能源部門(mén)的二氧化碳排放。實(shí)現(xiàn)這一目標(biāo)的兩個(gè)關(guān)鍵途徑是：新的綠色能源生產(chǎn)能力，即可再生能源；以及減少現(xiàn)有發(fā)電廠的排放，即碳捕獲和儲(chǔ)存（CCS）。

In Romania, the energy sector accounted for 66.44% of total national greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in 2009 (ANPM, 2011). Carbon dioxide (CO2) is the largest contributor to the total national GHG emissions. For this reason, Romania needs to implement new technologies to reduce CO2 emissions in the energy sector. Two key approaches to achieving this are: ? new green energy production capacities, i.e. renewable energy; and ? reducing the emissions of existing power plants, i.e. Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS)
