印度大力推動(dòng)可再生能源的發(fā)展，煤炭的未來(lái)前景有爭(zhēng)議地在下降，印度的2016年國(guó)家電力計(jì)劃草案要求到2027年，印度的總可再生能源容量將達(dá)到275千兆瓦，除已在建的電廠外，沒(méi)有其他的燃煤電廠。印度的清潔能源轉(zhuǎn)型繼續(xù)向AC過(guò)渡。與燃煤火力發(fā)電相比，中國(guó)通過(guò)可再生能源增加了2017年發(fā)電量的三倍以上。

There is a strong push for renewable energy in India with coalsfuture prospects arguably on the decline, as Indias draft 2016National Electricity Plan called for rising demand to be metwith 275 GW of total renewable energy capacity by 2027 andfor no coal plants beyond those already under construction.India's clean energy transition continues to accelerate, with thecountry adding more than thrice the capacity in power generationfor 2017 through renewables-as compared to coal-fired thermalpower.
