The People's Republic of China ("China") has become a major supplier of capital, engineering services, and equipment to the energy industry in developing and emerging economies. China's participation in the power and oil and gas sectors in emerging economies is particularly striking. Under the leadership of the central government, China's energy and energy infrastructure companies, which are mostly state-owned enterprises, are driven by factors such as the recipient system and the economy, and are active in almost all energy fields through various forms. This report analyzes China Energy and Energy Infrastructure's engineering services, equipment supply and investment in the power, coal and oil and gas sectors in emerging non-OECD countries in Asia. The report provides a quantitative, fact-based overview and complements existing research on the energy industry with comprehensive research methods. The report identified key Chinese stakeholders, focused on their main future trends, and analyzed their strategies and drivers. The research results show that Chinese companies' engineering services, equipment supply and investment have played an important role in strengthening the energy industry in emerging economies, but they still play a smaller role than other companies. Chinese companies can only meet part of the needs of the energy industry in emerging Asian economies.
