本報(bào)告是2013年和2014年為確定東亞非常規(guī)天然氣的非地質(zhì)限制因素而開(kāi)展的一項(xiàng)研究項(xiàng)目的一部分。當(dāng)時(shí)，非常規(guī)天然氣對(duì)國(guó)內(nèi)和國(guó)際天然氣市場(chǎng)產(chǎn)生了重大影響。2005年至2013年間，美國(guó)頁(yè)巖氣產(chǎn)量增長(zhǎng)了10倍。煤層氣歷史悠久，但產(chǎn)量也在增加，世界各國(guó)，包括亞洲國(guó)家，都開(kāi)始對(duì)其境內(nèi)頁(yè)巖氣和煤層氣的地質(zhì)潛力進(jìn)行評(píng)估，中國(guó)擁有豐富的煤炭資源，初步研究表明頁(yè)巖氣的潛力也很大。政府正在優(yōu)先考慮國(guó)內(nèi)天然氣生產(chǎn)，以應(yīng)對(duì)與氣候變化、空氣污染和供應(yīng)安全有關(guān)的挑戰(zhàn)。

This report is part of a research project to identify the non-geological constraints to unconventional gas in East Asia carried out in 2013 and 2014.At that time,unconventional gas was having major consequences for national and international gas markets.Between 2005 and 2013,the production of shale gas in the US grew ten fold.Coal bed methane had a longer history, but its output was also rising.As a result,countries around the world,including in Asia,began to assess the geological potential for shale gas and coal bed methane within their territories.China has vast resources of coal and preliminary studies suggested that the potential for shale gas was also very large.At the same time,the government was prioritising the domestic production of natural gas in order to address challenges relating to climate change,air pollution and ecurity of supply.
