The world's energy structure is changing. According to McKinsey's latest forecast, by 2035, renewable energy will not produce more than half of the world's electricity at a lower price than fossil fuel power generation. This will result in lower electricity prices, lower power equipment costs, and stricter greenhouse gas (GHG) regulation. At the same time, the above changes are expected to promote power consumption in industries such as passenger cars and space warming, where fossil fuels have long been a quasi-energy source.
