煤炭部負(fù)責(zé)監(jiān)督和控制其管轄下的10個(gè)公共事業(yè)和一個(gè)自治機(jī)構(gòu)以及部長(zhǎng)級(jí)人員的警惕性。該部的警戒由兼職的聯(lián)合秘書兼首席警戒官領(lǐng)導(dǎo)。他由一名董事，一名副秘書和一名科官協(xié)助。印度煤炭有限公司的警戒之翼或其子公司Neyveli Lignite Corporation由全職首席警戒官領(lǐng)導(dǎo)。印度煤炭工業(yè)有限公司（Coal India Limited）及其子公司Neyveli Lignite公司和煤礦公積金組織大約有300位高管/無(wú)執(zhí)行董事。作為煤炭和褐煤公共部門事業(yè)以及煤礦公積金組織的監(jiān)督者，該部特別注意精簡(jiǎn)這些組織的現(xiàn)行程序和做法，同時(shí)監(jiān)視警戒部門的運(yùn)作。

The Ministry of Coal exercises superin-tendence and control over the vigilance administration of 10 Public Sector Undertakings and one Autonomous Body under its jurisdiction as well as over the Ministerial staff. The vigilance set up of the Ministry is headed by a Joint Secretary-cum-Chief Vigilance Officer on part-time basis. He is assisted by a Director, an Under Secretary and a Section Officer. The Vigilance Wings of Coal India Limited / its subsidiaries, Neyveli Lignite Corporation are headed by full time Chief Vigilance Officers. There are about 300 executives /none x e c u t i v e s i n t h e v i g i l a n c e organization of Coal India Limited / its subsidiaries, Neyveli Lignite Corporation and Coal Mines Provident Fund Organization. Being the watch-dog of Coal and Lignite Public Sector Undertakings and the Coal Mines Provident Fund Organization, the Ministry pays special attention to streamlining the procedures and practices prevailing in these organizations, while monitoring the functioning of the Vigilance Departments.
