直到最近，JCOAL一直致力于將METI之下的日本的先進(jìn)火力發(fā)電等技術(shù)傳播到東南亞。但是，從幾年前開始，必須通過嚴(yán)格的歐盟環(huán)境法規(guī)來努力減輕燃煤電廠的環(huán)境負(fù)擔(dān)的歐盟地區(qū)，尤其是褐煤儲量豐富的波蘭，要求我們就引進(jìn)等問題尋求幫助。日本的高效燃煤發(fā)電技術(shù)，褐煤的有效利用以及環(huán)境對策技術(shù)。因此，我們訪問了波蘭，以響應(yīng)他們的要求，主要側(cè)重于開展政府間交流項目（包括公私交流）。

Until recently, we, JCOAL has been working for disseminatoin of technologies of advanced thermal power generation, etc. of Japan under METI towards Southeast Asia mainly. However, EU district, where working on reducing the environmental burden at coal-fired power plants by strict EU environmental regulation is mandatory from several years ago, particularly Poland, where reserves of lignite is abundant, asked us for help on issues such as the introduction of Japanese high-efficiency coal fired power generation technology, effective utilization of lignite, and environmental countermeasures technology. As such, we visited Poland to respond their requests primarily focusing on carrying out an intergovernmental exchange project (including public-private exchange).
