本部分規(guī)定了：
——支持用于實時以太網(wǎng)（RTE）需求分類的性能指標；
——基于GB/T15629.3-2014、IEC61158系列和IEC61784-1:2014的行規(guī)和相關(guān)網(wǎng)絡(luò)組件；
——能夠與基于GB/T15629.3—2014的應(yīng)用并行運行的RTE解決方案。
這些通信行規(guī)都被稱為實時以太網(wǎng)（RTE）通信行規(guī)。
